Financial support comes from fundraising events planned and implemented by the members of the Rotary Club of Cathedral City. Members of the Rotary Club of Cathedral City pay dues and make annual donations every year to the Rotary Foundation. Our club applies for grants from the Rotary Foundation to fund specific projects, such as the Cinco de Mayo celebration for the Senior Center.

Founded in 1905, Rotary International's people of action use their passion, energy, and intelligence to take on sustainable projects. From supporting literacy and peace to clean water and improved community health and sanitation, Rotarians are always working to better our world. For example, Rotary has been working to eradicate Polio worldwide; with the help of the Gates Foundation, we are close to accomplishing that goal.

Rotary International is a global service organization of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers, where people unite and take action to create lasting change - across the globe, improving our own communities and ourselves and bringing hope to millions of people throughout the world.
